DId anyone else think Janet Jackson's performance on the VMA's sucked big time?

I'm a Janet Jackson fan, don't get me wrong, but that was awful with the random crotch grabbing..and were those some sort of hybrid MC hammer pant??? UCK...come on Janet-Ms. Jackson you looked Nasty!!!
