Horse Owners .. I need your help ..?

what is the point of buying a foal? you can't ride it and do not have the experance to train it. What horse are you planning to ride for the three years it takes for the foal to mature? By this time you would be so rusty that you would have no chance of riding a green horse. Sorry to be so negative but these are the facts as i see them and I know my kids would not have any hope of convincing me that this is a good idea. I have broken horses for myself and other people but after 4 years out of the saddle i would not dream of doing it now
