How can we make The Texas Rangers better in 2009 please?

Here's my idea : Trade Gerald Laird for pitching. I would get Matt Cain or Barry Zito. Get rid of Blalock, Salty, Wilson, Warren, Feldman, Mccarthy, and other players too. Keep all outfields, keep some of our starters, and some of our bullpen players. Fired Washington and Daniels. Hired a manager who knows the game inside and out. Find a manager who is good with Fundamentals. Sign free agents: Jason Varitek, Vlad, K-Rod, Randy Johnson, Brad Penny, Derek Lowe, Ben Sheets, C.C. and Andy Petite. I want them to win over 135 games next year. Get Ichiro and Raul Isbanez. What do y'all think. Are team suck for 8 years and so did are pitching too.
