How good/bad was the Skoda Estelle? Was it good value for money?

'Good' does not come in to it. This was made when people made jokes about doubling a Skoda's value when you filled the tank. Actually build quality was not really that bad but certainly the car was very basic and crude, By todays standards the handling was woeful, particularly in the wet. If all your driving was at slow speeds in a city you might ~ just ~ have considered it value for money. You really would not want to be driving one nowadays.
