How to address this guys with hot and cold behavior?

Around Thanksgiving last year I was briefly dating a man. I knew him for 7 years, we used to work together. Anyway, during our brief courtship I swear he swept me off my feet like no other man has. He wined and dined me. He was so sweet I could've eaten him up. Then after two months we slept together. The was awesome and he was such a gentlemen. However, after we slept together that's when the **** hit the fan. He started acting hot and cold with me. His words stopped matching his actions. I told him if he wanted to hit it and quit why continue to contact me. He had no answer. So at the end of January I told him to get lost and to loose my number. So we hadn't spoken 6 months until yesterday morning. I changed my cell phone number recently due to getting prank calls. I never told this guy my new phone number. Anyway to make a long story short I received a text stating who he was and that he missed me. I was shocked. I haven't responded back to him yet though. I feel like telling him to go phuck himself. We're both in our late 20's btw.
