Is it time to retire the SILLY GAY MANTRA "I was born this way so therefore it's inherently moral/right"?

Rather than comparing being gay to stealing, alcohol abuse or cheating, why not compare it to being tall, or having dark hair? Stealing, cheating and abusing drugs are behaviors that hurt people, so even if you're predisposed to doing them you should stop yourself. Being gay never hurt anyone -people are only hurt by the bigoted responses to it.
