JSA... new deal help?

i am currently on job seekers allowance and my adviser said i have to change the job seekers allowance to training allowance. i start a course at TNG on monday, what do i do to switch my job seekers allowance to training allowance? my adviser said it could affect my money if i dont switch over. thanks in advance
