PLEASE help~ Confused about love and mixing religions?

I met this guy 9 years ago. We are so close and talk about everything. Over the past year we've really connected and I know that I love him. The problem is we are different religions. I am a Baptist and he's a Jehovah witness. He is single and everyone in his congregation is pushing him to find a spouse and marry. Why are they so insistent on getting their singles married off so quickly? I want to date him, get to know the man he is and he wants me to become a JW so that we can marry. He says that we can date, even though they frown on that big time. I'm very well grounded in my religion, I know my bible but we differ so much on things. Will this ever work? We are crazy about each other. Talk every day. Share every thing. My heart aches for him. Advice please.
