Should I stop use of cyproheptadine in my cat?

I took my cat to the vet today for her rabies and distemper shots. She also received fluids because she was a little dehydrated. She's a 9 year old rescue cat and has always had issues with low weight since she was a kitten. The vet gave me cyproheptadine to increase her appitite. I've given her two doses already today and I haven't seen her eat anything. On top of that she is walking around crying and seems a little woozy like she might tip over. I plan to call the vet in the morning to ask him about it but I was just curious if any one else has experience this or knows anything about the situation.
