WKD with Coors Light?

i've heard mixing beer with vodka or just having vodka and beer in the same night is bad news. i'm not a heavy drinking so i usually only ever have a little bit of the low percentage stuff like wkd and coors light, but if i had one litre of each one night would i be sick, despite the low percentages? i'd pace myself. let me know, thanks.
